Order Information
To send your order by mail, make a note of each Image ID (shown below each image on its description page, beginning with Z), image title, and the size you want. Then send us your shipping information with your payment by check.
Sizes Most images are available in these standard sizes. (The individual image pages in the India galleries specifically list available sizes.)
- small - 6x10 or 7 3/4 x 10
- medium - 8x12 or 9x12
- large - 12x16 or 12x18
Some images have a panorama width with sizes of 5x10 and 9x18, with a few even larger at 12x24 and the Tea Hills at 12x36.

Matte or luster? For each image, we've chosen the type of paper we think looks best. We use Hahnemuhle, Moab, and Epson papers in matte finishes and Epson Premium Luster. However, if you really want luster or matte, let us know and we can tell you whether the image will work on your paper selection.
Unframed prints For some papers, large prints are shipped rolled. However, most matte papers cannot be rolled and they are shipped with a backing board of foam core or mat board cut to fit the print. Most orders for unframed prints can be shipped as soon as payment clears, but may require 2 or 3 days for processing.
Frames We use metal frames with acrylite glazing and conservation mats. For the larger pictures, Neilsen Currents in blue or dark brown with a satin finish looks good with the brushed finish reflecting and blending with the image and the ambient light. Mat borders are just under 3 inches, so that a 12x18 print is 18x24 framed. For smaller images we use Neilsen Basic in dark blue, dusk, or black. Orders for framed prints may require a week to 10 days for processing.
Payment and sales tax You can pay via Paypal on our web site (coming soon), or you can send a check in the mail. Orders paid by check will not be shipped until the check clears. We must charge sales tax for orders shipped in Massachusetts.
Shipping We ship via US mail. Shipping and handling varies with the order. For up to 10 unframed prints, the charge is is $8 for up to 10 unframed prints. For one or two framed prints, shipping is $12.
